South African rapper A-Reece has addressed confusion surrounding the unexpected re-upload of his 2017 album P2: The Big Hearted Bad Guy on YouTube, along with ongoing concerns about missing tracks from the project on streaming platforms.
On 19 May 2026, A-Reece took to Instagram to clarify the situation after fans noticed changes to the album’s presence on YouTube. In his post, he expressed surprise and frustration, stating that he had not been informed about the re-upload prior to it appearing online. He wrote: “kind of annoyed and a bit embarrassed to say this but I don’t know how this happened nor did I have any idea about the re-upload of my album P2 on YouTube until a few minutes ago”.
P2: The Big Hearted Bad Guy was originally released in 2023 as a major project in A-Reece’s catalogue, following his earlier breakthrough releases. The album became widely available across digital streaming platforms and YouTube, where it was uploaded for listeners to access the full tracklist in video format. Over time, different versions and uploads have appeared online, reflecting changes in distribution and channel management.
