Dineo Ranaka has once again taken over social media, this time with a sweet, intimate clip of herself and her new partner, Mfundo Nthangeni.
The loved-up video, shared on 17 November, shows the pair enjoying each other’s company during a relaxed date, exchanging smiles, jokes and a few kisses while seated at a restaurant table.
Although the audio of their conversation was muted, a voice-over played in the background, emphasising the joy of being with someone who feels like home.
“Life is just a steep hill; the last thing you need is to come home to somebody you don’t even like,” the narration said — a sentiment that many felt matched Dineo’s current glow.
While fans gushed over how happy and carefree she looked, others were quick to draw comparisons between Mfundo and one of Dineo’s former partners, rapper Lesego “Blaklez” Moiloa.
Social media users pointed out the resemblance, joking about their shared bald heads and beards, with comments like “Blaklez Lite” and “She has a type” flooding her comment section.
Dineo and Blaklez, who share a daughter named Kopano, dated years ago and had a rocky split, but eventually reached common ground to co-parent peacefully.
With Blaklez now married and Dineo finding new love, many of her supporters felt she finally looked at ease.
In the viral clip, Dineo described her partner as her “soft landing,” a phrase often used to describe a calm, safe and emotionally supportive relationship after past turbulence.
