Social media was buzzing this week after Samkelo Shezi, musician, influencer and the son of Durban music veteran DJ Tira, posted a photo of himself wearing ladies’ underwear.
The image quickly made the rounds online, leaving many South Africans confused about whether he was being playful, chasing content, or trying to send a message.
Shezi is no stranger to trending moments.
Earlier this year, he made headlines after allegedly paying lobola for his girlfriend, Mbali Dlamini, and later joked about being financially strained from the process.
Now, another unexpected moment has put him back in the spotlight.
A popular user on X, @mashesha, reshared the photo on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, asking, “Yi content nale?” (Is this content?).
That single question opened the floodgates for reactions, with many users chiming in with shock, confusion and humour.
“Yini manje le?” (What is this?) one commenter asked, while another wrote, “Udlisiwe lo,” suggesting he might be “bewitched.”
Someone else simply wanted clarity, asking, “Kwenziwani manje?” (What’s happening?).
Others hinted at a possible relationship twist, with one user saying, “There’s a woman involved.”
