
The United States of America based Nigeria Soccer Federation, (NSF) the main body and organiser of Nigerian-US Soccer Festival has finalised plans to stage the 2021 edition of the event where an array of Ex-Super Eagles players living in the US will be expected to participate.
The soccer tourney tagged: Nigerian-US Soccer Championship according, Taju Disu, one of the coordinators of this year’s edition has commenced on 7th and will end on 11th October at 1780 Old Salem Rd SE, Conyers, Atlanta Georgia, USA.
NSF was founded in Washington, DC, several years ago with the goal of showcasing Nigerian athletes in the United States as we have a large number of Nigerians in America who have played soccer at the highest level and have also played in this league, where they have made significant contributions.
Among stars expected to vie in the tournament as revealed by Kunle Akingbade, Public Relations Officer of the body are Teslim Fatusi, Paul Okoku, Fatai Atere who doubles as the Commissioner of the body organizing the event, Alphonsus Akhahon, Austin Igbinabaro, Azuka Jean, Deinde Akinlotan, Emmanuel Akpan, Sam Opodu, Judith Chime, Emeka Ezeogu, Babatunde Joseph, among others.
Hon Tajudeen Ajide will be the Special Guest of Honor at the event which also aimed to showcase Nigerian-US Soccer Development Programs for youths over the years as explained by the leadership of the body that comprises of Adetunji Aderemi, the President, Austin Okonkwo, Vice President and the Secretary, Jude Mokolo.
