Celebrity doctor Mmereka Patience Martha Ntshani – popularly known as Dr Pashy – is in the spotlight after being named as the latest high-profile individual linked to the Thabo Bester saga.
According to reports, Dr Nandipha Magudumana (Bester’s girlfriend) was found in possession of several passports when she was arrested in Tanzania with Bester over the weekend. Among those passports in Dr Nandipha’s possession were two of Dr Pashy’s passports.
Dr Pashy then issued a statement claiming that she was seeking legal advice on the matter, alleging that her identity had been stolen. She named Dr Nandipha as the perpetrator of that alleged crime.
In her statement, she addressed social media chatter about her involvement in a women empowerment event hosted by Magudumana and claimed she agreed to be part of the event solely for the purposes of “inspiring, empowering and uplifting women and children”.
Lastly, she denied ever receiving funds from Magudumana or any organisations linked to her.

The doctor specialises in anesthesiology and often shared pictures and videos of herself at work on her Instagram account.

Although she calls herself “Mfungho’s mom” in her Instagram bio, she seems to have three sons as shown by her Instagram account.

When she’s not in the theater assisting in surgical procedures, Dr Pashy is quite the socialite. Her Instagram account is littered with pictures of herself alongside celebrities like Basetsana Kumalo, Connie and Shona Ferguson as well as Sex and the City’s Kristin Davis who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt.
She has also attended a number of events on the South African social calendar in addition to attending fashion week abroad and even seeing Beyonce in concert.
She loves to travel
Travelling seems to be another one of Dr Pashy’s loves as her account is filled with pictures and videos from ocean-front locations where she gets to spend most of her days in bikinis an swimsuit cover-ups.
She got caught up in the Thabo Bester saga
Dr Pashy now finds herself subject to investigation thanks to the fact that Dr Nandipha Magudumana was arrested and found in possession of two of Dr Pashy’s passports.
The attention got to Dr Pashy, who went on a rant via her Instagram stories over the weekend.
