South African Amapiano innovator Hotfurze drops his new EP, Before The Storm, a bold body of work that captures the energy, ambition and momentum of one of the genre’s most exciting young producers. Designed for both the streets and the dancefloor, Before The Storm showcases Hotfurze’s signature high-energy production while introducing listeners to his evolving sonic identity. Across the project, hypnotic log drums, infectious grooves and vibrant vocal performances collide with the producer’s unmistakable “Bounce” sound — a fresh fusion of groove, emotion and unstoppable energy that is rapidly becoming his calling card.

Leading the release is “Ganda Ganda,” an explosive collaboration with Mellow & Sleazy and Mpho Spizzy featuring D’Braz. Fuelled by infectious chants, pounding percussion and relentless energy, the track is tailor-made for clubs, festivals and street parties. Already building significant momentum on TikTok, the record is quickly emerging as a fan favourite, delivering the kind of instant replay value and dancefloor impact that has become synonymous with Amapiano’s biggest crossover moments.
“Before The Storm is about energy, movement and showing people where my sound is heading,” says Hotfurze. “Bounce is more than just a style of production to me—it’s a feeling.
