South African artists Jesse Clegg and Msaki have released their collaborative album titled Entropy. The project officially became available on 27 February 2026, marking the culmination of several years of creative development between the two musicians. Entropy is presented not only as a musical release but also as a visual album, with accompanying cinematic pieces that were unveiled at the album’s launch in Johannesburg.

The album comprises a total of six tracks. These songs reflect a range of thematic material that the duo explored during the project’s creation, including intimacy, transformation, resilience, and philosophical inquiry. The tracklist begins with “Untimely Disclosure,” which served as the foundational piece for the album and was written early in the collaboration process.

Three singles preceded the full release of Entropy. The first offering was “Wayside Lover” featuring Sjava, which was introduced with a music video that helped establish the mood and thematic direction of the album ahead of its full release. This song was described as one of the earliest compositions created for the project and shaped the broader creative path of the body of work.

Following that, “How Dare You” was released, further building momentum for the album. Both tracks worked as lead singles that introduced listeners to the sound and narrative that Clegg and Msaki were developing.

The final single ahead of the full album drop was “Untimely Disclosure.” This track was positioned as the last release in the rollout sequence and was noted as the very first song the duo wrote together, making it a significant starting point for the project’s creative journey.

In addition to Sjava’s feature on “Wayside Lover,” the album does not prominently list other guest vocal features in available sources. However, the collaborative nature of the songwriting and production process involved contributions from producers and creative partners, with the music drawing from various stylistic influences as noted in coverage.

The Entropy project was introduced publicly over the course of 2025 and early 2026 through the staggered release of singles and music videos, providing audiences with glimpses into the evolving body of work before its complete release. The official launch event included a visual film component, directed by Marty Bleazard, which expands the album into a visual narrative examining themes of grief, love, and transformation.

Entropy is available on major streaming platforms, inviting listeners to engage with both its sonic and visual elements as a unified artistic statement.
