South African hip-hop artist Just G has officially unveiled the music video for his latest single Amandla, sharing the announcement with supporters on Instagram and marking a new moment for the track that arrived earlier this month. The release brings the record to life while highlighting a collaboration with poet and vocalist Nue Sam, whose presence on the song adds an emotional and reflective layer to the message carried throughout the piece.

The rapper confirmed that the visual is now available, crediting the creative team behind the release while expressing appreciation to those who have supported the journey so far. The collaboration merges Just G’s rap delivery with Nue Sam’s poetic expression, creating a blend that reflects themes of reflection, strength and community.

“Ndifun uthi ndiyabulela kuwo wonke umntu who is on this journey with me. God got us,” he wrote while announcing the release.

As for the rapper Just G, the drop continues a steady presence within the South African hip-hop landscape as part of the influential collective African Trap Movement. The group, widely known for shaping the African Trap sound, has included notable members such as Emtee, Saudi, Sjava, Ranks ATM and Sims. Through this collective, Just G has contributed to a catalogue that helped introduce the movement’s distinctive style to a broader audience, including appearances on projects like Trapping Outta Control.

The collaboration with Nue Sam also brings together two creative voices with different artistic backgrounds. Neu Sam has earned recognition for powerful spoken-word performances delivered mainly in isiZulu. Her work often touches on personal and social themes, including mental health, identity and empowerment, which have helped position her as a distinctive voice in contemporary South African storytelling.

Her creative path also includes early association with 1020 Cartel, the label co-founded by Sjava and Ruff, where she was among the first artists introduced under the imprint. Over time, she has built a reputation for blending poetry, music, and performance in ways that resonate deeply with listeners.

Released on 6 March 2026, Amandla now finds new life through its official visual release, giving audiences another way to engage with the collaboration between Just G and Nue Sam. The unveiling signals a continued creative presence from both artists while reinforcing the cultural connections that have long defined the African Trap Movement and the voices connected to it.
