This year, Malibongwe Arts Festival in association with MGE, Sheer Entertainment and Breakout Events invites audiences to celebrate that legacy through the universal language of music as Tribute To Women 2026 returns on Saturday, 29 August at Mark’s Park in Emmarentia for another unforgettable day of live entertainment.

South Africa’s Biggest Voices Unite For Tribute To Women 2026 This Women’s Month

Now firmly established as one of Johannesburg’s premier Women’s Month events, Tribute To Women music festival celebrates excellence, resilience and the extraordinary contribution of women while bringing together generations through the shared experience of live performance.

The 2026 edition also carries added significance as South Africa marks the 70th anniversary of the historic Women’s March to the Union Buildings. In this milestone year, Tribute To Women deepens its purpose as a cultural celebration that honours the courage, creativity and collective power of women, while using music to connect the legacy of those who marched with the voices shaping the present.

Leading this year’s celebration is an exceptional line up featuring the unmistakable artistry of Msaki, whose deeply moving songwriting continues to captivate audiences across the globe. Joining her is award winning musician Sjava, whose powerful storytelling has redefined contemporary African music, alongside iconic duo Mafikizolo, whose timeless catalogue has soundtracked celebrations across the continent for more than two decades.

Adding further energy to the programme are chart-topping stars Nomfundo Moh and Busiswa, completing a line-up that effortlessly bridges soulful storytelling, Afro-pop, house, amapiano and dance music. Together, they promise a full day of performances celebrating both the diversity and brilliance of South African music.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Mark’s Park, festival goers can once again expect an immersive outdoor experience designed for families, friends and music lovers alike. From the first performance until the final song, Tribute To Women offers audiences an opportunity to connect, celebrate and create lasting memories in one of Johannesburg’s most beautiful event spaces.

In celebration of Women’s Month, Tribute To Women 2026 promises a fitting celebration of the voices, stories and artistry that continue to inspire South Africa and the world.
