South African artist Money Badoo has officially announced the release of her upcoming EP, 4PLAY, which is scheduled to arrive on 5 June. The project will feature nine tracks and marks her first major body of work since spending significant time developing her sound between South Africa and Berlin over the past year.
The announcement was shared on her social media platforms, where she described the project as a deeply personal offering created for her supporters. In her message, Money Badoo revealed that 4PLAY was shaped by experiences, relationships and creative collaborations that became part of her journey over the last year.
“A lil EP from my heart, 4 the real 1$,” she wrote, adding that the project was made “4 the fun & especially 4 the fanta$y.” She also thanked everyone involved in bringing the release together and confirmed that credits and the official tracklist would be revealed ahead of the launch.
The EP arrives after a busy period for the artist, who has steadily built anticipation through a series of singles released in 2026. Among the standout releases was $tranger, a track that showcased a reflective side of Money Badoo while maintaining the alternative and genre-fluid style that has become synonymous with her music. The single followed earlier releases including RUDEBOI, Japane$e, 3NRGY featuring Lyndan James, and Madonna, all of which helped shape the rollout leading into the EP.
The upcoming project also reflects a period of international growth for the artist. Over the past year, Money Badoo has spent time in Berlin, immersing herself in new creative environments and connecting with musicians and producers from different parts of the world.
