Nota Baloyi has once again stirred controversy online after making bold claims about flamboyant businessman Solly “MySol” Soka Madibela.

Appearing on a Twitch livestream with streamer Sonwabile, the outspoken music executive insisted that MySol is not truly wealthy.

The comments came at an interesting time, as MySol has reportedly just added a Rolls-Royce Spectre worth over R20 million to his collection.

But Nota dismissed the luxury buy, saying it does not prove real financial status.

During the livestream, later reshared on X by @MrSmegOfficial, Nota doubled down on his view, saying: “I’ve just come from the North West. He doesn’t have money. I don’t care what car he drives.”

He argued that genuine wealth is reflected in land ownership rather than flashy vehicles.

Nota used a recent farm visit as an example, explaining that the property he went to was so vast that it took him 13 kilometres from the gate to reach the house.

He challenged MySol’s supposed wealth with a direct comparison: “Where on MySol’s farm can you drive 13 kilometres from the gate to the house? Show me… Don’t show me the mining sites.”

Expanding on his point, Nota said the scale of land he saw is something MySol “will never reach,” adding: “Imagine instead of Hiluxes, he had a rhino… and then he had a giraffe.”
