With the upcoming single Going In, StaticFlo introduces what appears to be the opening chapter of her 2026 catalogue. While the full details surrounding the release are yet to be confirmed, the single positions itself as a strong starting point as she re-engages audiences with fresh material. The announcement has already sparked curiosity among followers eager to hear the direction she takes next.

Often referred to as the “Queen of the East,” a nickname rooted in her Eastern Cape background, StaticFlo has built a reputation around sharp lyricism and storytelling grounded in lived experience. Her work frequently explores themes connected to everyday life, family and personal growth, delivered through a confident rap style that prioritises meaning over shock value.

Her journey in the arts began long before stepping behind a microphone. StaticFlo first explored creative expression through dance before discovering poetry, a path that eventually led her into hip-hop in 2011. That foundation continues to shape the way she approaches music today, blending rhythm with reflective storytelling.

Over the years, she has assembled a catalogue that reflects this evolution. Her releases include The Completion, a 15-track album that featured rapper Reason, as well as the eight-track project Iphupha. In 2024, she followed with FLIGHT ’31, before releasing the nostalgic single Seven7, which paid tribute to classic Kwaito and Bubblegum influences.

StaticFlo has also carried her music onto prominent stages, performing at events such as the Back To The City Festival and the Motherwell Festival. Her contributions to hip-hop were further recognised with a nomination for Hip Hop Artist of the Year at the Basadi in Music Awards.

As anticipation grows around Going In, the single stands as the first signal of StaticFlo’s creative plans for 2026. With the cover art already unveiled and the pre-save link expected to follow, listeners are now waiting for the moment the track officially arrives.
