
Bola Tinubu, leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday night returned to Nigeria after spending over three months in London the United Kingdom (UK).
Sources at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport revealed that the ex-Lagos governor arrived at the Lagos airport on Friday night.
Another source closed to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also confirmed the arrival of Tinubu in a chat with our correspondent.
The official, who craved anonymity, because he was not permitted to speak on the matter said that Sanwo-Olu received Tinubu at the Lagos airport.
Tinubu’s health has been a subject of controversy of late; the two-term Lagos State Governor was reported to have undergone knee surgery in London.
At least over 30 politicians had visited him in London in the last three months.
Notably amongst the politicians include President Muhammadu Buhari, Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Umar Ganduje (Kano), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), and Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo).
