Zandie Khumalo says album is almost ready
Singer Zandile Khumalo has given fans an exciting update on her highly anticipated album, revealing that the project is almost complete.
However, she made it clear that she is in no rush to release it until the timing feels right.
Taking to social media, the songstress explained that this body of work is very close to her heart and requires a proper rollout strategy, not just a quick announcement.
“Album is almost ready but the timing has to be right and the rollout has to be on point because this project is personally personal,” she shared.
Zandile added that she won’t be relying on trendy gimmicks to push the project.
“My manager always says saying ‘album out on all digital platforms’ is not a rollout plan, and you can threaten and market all you like but in the end the music needs to speak for itself,” she wrote.
The star emphasized that this project is dedicated to her day-one supporters rather than trying to win over new audiences.
“This album is tailor-made for my fans, not looking for new fans even though they are welcome. We won’t be going all out for them; into encane nje yomndeni le. We will focus on serving the ones that fell in love with my music since my arrival,” Zandile said.
According to her, the aim is for the music to connect deeply with listeners, without being overhyped.
“I just want it to touch your hearts without marketing it too much, without TikTok challenges and open verses.
Most importantly, I want it to make you fall in love again, in love with yourself and with those that are special to you,” she concluded.
